Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Partial Hospitalization Program in Ohio

Partial Hospitalization Programs are often called PHP programs and offer the most intense outpatient therapy service available. White Light Behavioral Health provides Partial Hospitalization Programs at our Outpatient Location in Ohio for clients who need treatment for addiction, Alcohol Abuse, or Behavior Health diagnosis. There are many benefits to this level of care, both for those who have attended an In-patient Residential Treatment Program and those without experience.

Committed to Clinical Excellence

Our clinical treatment professionals assess each client and recommend appropriate care based on their needs. For those who transitioned from an in-patient residential treatment program, PHP helps them adjust to life out in the world again, providing the stability and structure that they were once accustomed to during this difficult time.

We understand how challenging it can be for individuals living without the safety net of structured programs such as outpatient services. So we offer a Partial Hospitalization Program for these types of clients who may require more guidance than what is offered at either one of these levels.

White Light Behavioral Health’s partial hospitalization program is 6 hours daily, five days a week. This equates to 30 clinical hours weekly, comprised of one-on-one and group therapy sessions. With PHP, clients can live at home or in a structured sober living facility and visit the outpatient clinic once daily for their programming. Every member of our clinical staff has committed to providing a stable environment where we can best support each client in their pursuit of wellness.

In partial hospitalization programs, clients focus solely on their treatment plan. It’s only natural considering how much time they invest in establishing a strong foundation for their future sobriety and overall health, but it doesn’t always go as planned. Addiction isn’t an easy battle, and during this process, people need all the support and resources available to them – which is where rehabilitation center’s come in. They offer guidance every step of the way while providing comfort and emotional stability whenever needed.

Clinical Assessments

Upon admission to our PHP program, the client is first assessed via a biopsychosocial assessment. This helps us create an individualized treatment plan customized to their specific needs and goals. With this in mind, we also encourage clients to take ownership of their treatment planning process.

Working with the client,  we help identify strengths, weaknesses, and treatment goals—outlining measurable objectives so they can track how far they’ve come. We use a variety of therapeutic modalities, tailoring them specifically for each person’s needs or wants—to serve all of our clients.

Here are some of the Therapeutic interventions that are available in our PHP program:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  •  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Psychotherapy
  • Psychodrama
  • Hypnotherapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
  • Stages of Change
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Wellness Lab
  •  Medication Management

Clients must be given the care they deserve. At White Light Behavioral Health, we offer various levels of care for all types of people who come to us. We work closely with our patients to identify their health goals and find a way to achieve them.

Individual Care

In the Partial Hospitalization Program, clients engage in group and individual therapy. It’s very important to understand that these two elements are crucial for successful treatment as they each serve different but equally vital purposes. Group therapy occurs daily, giving clients a sense of camaraderie, which alludes to the fact that addiction doesn’t just happen to one person – it happens to many others who’ve experienced what you’re going through now.

Seeing other people who’ve dealt with things similar to yours creates the feeling of being supported, even if only five or six people are sitting around talking about their recovery experience and providing reassurance that everything will be okay soon. There is also qualified assistance from professionals involved in your care and peer-to-peer support offered by members who attend these groups too; which helps them develop healthy ways of coping with life after treatment ends.

Individual therapy sessions are an essential part of PHP. If a client has been diagnosed with alcoholism or drug abuse – then it isn’t just themselves that feels the ill effects, but also their family and friends too. They feel shame and despair; these symptoms affect themselves and others around them. Our clinical team helps our clients deal with these emotions while helping them learn to live without drugs or alcohol – which can be tough! When you come here for counseling, we ensure that you’ll always have someone ready to listen, someone, who will provide emotional support and suggestions so you can find what it means to be yourself again.

Family therapy sessions are conducted throughout a partial hospitalization program to strengthen each client’s support system. As loved ones take in the sober and healthy appearance of someone they knew years ago, there is usually much anger, resentment, and even fear. To ensure clients can interact healthily with other family members after they’ve made progress, these negative emotions must first be addressed. Clients must identify both unhealthy dynamics or relationships as well as positive ones so that all people involved can have strong foundations for building healthier connections – something every person deserves.
